Sail Corpus Christi, Inc. is a non-profit sailing center in downtown Corpus Christi. We use small (under 20 feet in length) sailboats and have special programs for under-served persons in our community.
|
What We Do
Sail Corpus Christi is dedicated to teaching sailing to all segments of Corpus Christi's population regardless of age, special needs or financial need. We sponsor a Summer Learn-to-Sail Day-Camp for boys and girls ages 8-14. We have After-School Sailing Leagues in the spring, summer and fall. For sailors of all ages we have "Open Sailing," where a group of boats sail under the supervision of a certified sailing instructor. We have a Community Sailing Program, where members can use school-owned boats on a regular basis. We teach Beginning Windsurfing for experienced sailors who want to try this exciting sport, and Powerboating for ages 12 and above.
